From Assynt House you can enjoy an invigorating walk in the hills and enjoy the views for miles around.
Visit one of our local malt whisky distilleries for some Highland spirit-making history, and a warming dram or two! Wherever you choose to venture, Assynt House provides a warm welcome on your return.

You don’t have to travel too far to feel a million miles away. Assynt House is only 40 minutes drive from Inverness Airport. Just 3 miles from Assynt House you are on the A9 and the North Coast 500.
Once you are at Assynt House you are surrounded by countryside yet you don’t have to travel for miles up country roads to be here. The drive from the village of Evanton is a gentle and pretty drive through trees and countryside for only 1.5 miles.

The house is really special accommodation for groups, with individually designed en-suite accommodation for 14 plus cots and fold-away beds for young children, everyone is made to feel very welcome.
Assynt House has a stunning drawing room with open fires and comfy sofas, a beautiful dining table seating 14, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen to enjoy, plus a TV room and small study so that you can keep in touch with the outside world. It’s a historic house which has been lovingly restored, with underfloor heating on our lower ground floor and central heating throughout, it’s a lovely warm house to enjoy in the cold Winter Months.
