The Great Outdoors

Walk for miles along tranquil shores, on hillsides and mountain tops, through ancient woodlands, breathing in the fresh air and taking in the unspoiled natural beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Wildlife in the area is plentiful, guests often see pheasant and deer in the garden and buzzards and red kites fly in the skies above.

Quiet Highland beaches are plentiful as are lush green landscapes, waterfalls, challenging hills and mountains. Fryish Monument looks down at Assynt House from the hills above. Just a short walk from Assynt House visit the exceptional Black Rock Gorge and Evanton Woods.
