“We were so lucky to discover Assynt House back in 2013. We fish nearby and the whole family converges there in August. Graham and Elizabeth are
perfect hosts and it is super spacious and comfortable.
The housekeeping is second to none. It is kept scrupulously clean. There are luxurious towels and robes, lovely complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion. If you need meals then Graham is on hand to provide marvelous dishes - large or small - single pot or multi-course with vegan and vegetarian options too.
We had no qualms staying at Assynt House this August, in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic because we absolutely knew that Graham and Elizabeth would take every precaution necessary to keep us safe and this they did. You are in good hands at Assynt House. We are very much looking forward to returning next year.”

“Our family were in desperate need of a Covid-19 getaway after 6 months living in restricted circumstances. How fortunate that we found Assynt House. The house with all en-suite bedrooms was perfect for our family. We all enjoyed many of Graham's one pot dishes.
The location was superb with nearby hiking trails and world class golf courses. The house was always kept in pristine condition and nothing was too much trouble for Elizabeth and Graham who organised the cleaning around our daily schedule amid the covid restrictions. It was a truly fabulous two weeks stay and we felt very sad to leave in the end. We will definitely return!”
