Whether you are bringing family or friends together to celebrate a special birthday, anniversary, or planning a reunion of friends, we do our very best to ensure your celebration at Assynt House is just how you had imagined.
Our flexible approach allows you to plan the occasion with as little or as much help as you desire. If you would like to dress the table with beautiful flowers or arrange some evening entertainment, we have some wonderful recommendations and are happy to be on hand to assist with the preparations for your special occasion.

Assynt House is a fabulous exclusive use venue, sleeping up to 14 in our seven en-suite super-king size bedrooms. Our stunning wood-lined drawing room has open log fires, a large dining table and comfy sofas.
This large house accommodation is perfect for groups and has a great warm vibe which never fails to impress. Perhaps a ceilidh band is just what you need to complete the night? We can push back the sofas and let the dancing begin...
Please contact us to discuss your special event or dinner individually. There is an events fee in addition to the rental price for weddings and for parties who exceed the rental capacity of the house.

We have a flexible approach to catering and you can book a chef all week or have one or two special meals served throughout your stay.
Three course meals typically cost £45-£60 per head. Breakfast is typically £16 per head. Picnic Lunches, Buffet Lunches can be arranged and we always create menus to specifically to suit you and your guests.

Clean & Beautifully Maintained
You need not trouble yourself with the household chores during your stay at Assynt House. Our Housekeeper will come each day (with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day).
Assynt House has received a 100% cleanliness score from Visit Scotland year after year, this means overall cleanliness is of a 5 star standard.
Housekeeping is complimentary so that you can enjoy coming home to a clean house each day.

Christmas at Assynt House
Christmas is special at Assynt House. Tastefully decorated for the season, foliage heaped upon mantles, a wreath upon the door and a large decorated Christmas tree awaits you.
Be together with loved ones in front of roaring fires, enjoy drinks in our wood lined drawing room and meals around the large Mahogany dining table.
Winter walks are plentiful and perhaps you might be lucky enough to enjoy a White Christmas.

Celebrate Hogmanay in the Highlands!
Where better to celebrate the New Year? Scotland is a fantastic destination for your Hogmanay celebrations. This beautiful 5-star holiday house is perfect for house parties and has seven en-suite bedrooms and plenty of space, making it easy to get together friends and family for the New Year bells.
Make New Year as quiet or as lively as you like, enjoy taking in the bells at one of the famous Highland street parties or make a party of your own at Assynt House!
Assynt House sleep 14 plus cots. Arrival and departure dates are flexible to suit your travel needs and you will find the house tastefully decorated for the celebrations with Christmas Tree and foliage heaped on the mantles.
