By reducing waste, saving energy, and supporting our local community and suppliers we can make a difference, here is more about what we are doing to protect the environment:

• The house uses energy-efficient lighting throughout.
• Heating and hot water are carefully managed for comfort and efficiency.
• We ask guests to turn off lights and appliances when not in use.
Water & Laundry
• All bedrooms have modern fittings that help reduce water waste.
• We encourage re-use of towels where possible to limit unnecessary laundry.
Recycling & Waste
• Recycling bins are provided for plastics, cans, paper, card, soft plastics and glass.
• We avoid single-use plastics and use refillable cleaning and toiletry products where we can.
Supporting Local
• We use local suppliers for food, flowers, and maintenance wherever possible.
• We love to recommend nearby restaurants, producers, and activities that share our values.
Nature & the Grounds
• The gardens are maintained with respect for local wildlife and plants.
