From the first moment you step through the front door of Assynt House you will be made to feel at home. The house is so peaceful and has a such a nice feel, it invites you to relax instantly.
Assynt House is a great base to explore the Highlands of Scotland and the NC500. You can explore the Northern Highlands easily with a different adventure each day. Or simply enjoy slowing down the pace and discovering the beauty and culture which surrounds us locally.
We have 7 en-suite bedrooms which can accommodate up to 14 as well as cots and fold-away beds for younger children. All of our beds are Super-king and four of our bedrooms can be made into twin beds, should you require them.
We Love the Little Touches
We love providing all the little things which go a long way to making your stay more pleasurable. Arranging fresh flowers throughout the house, magazines and books for browsing.
Our beds have Super king feather duvets and feather pillows to sink in to. Organic Scottish toiletries can be found in your bathrooms as well as bath toys for little ones. Hollowfibre bedding is available on request.
Assynt House is a serviced holiday house with discrete, complimentary daily housekeeping which keeps on top of the household jobs leaving you more time for your vacation.

Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped, the house has a large drawing room with log fires, comfy sofas and a large dining table seating 14 comfortably.
With no TV in the drawing room, conversation comes naturally. On the lower ground floor there is a TV lounge with Netflix and Smart TV. Board games are plentiful as are toys and books for the children.
The house was lovingly renovated by its current owners and has a lovely warm feel and is beautifully maintained and enhanced each year, always seeking to surpass our guests expectations.

It is so important to us that you arrive to an impeccably clean property. During our clean to prepare the house for you, no stone is left unturned. Our cleaners take great pride in ensuring that the property is immaculate.
We do not allow dogs or pets inside the house which means we can guarantee an allergy free environment for those with animal allergies.
An exceptional standard of cleanliness has always been at the forefront of what we offer. Daily Housekeeping is included in your stay which means you never have to give cleaning a thought.
